The board of directors, professional staff and youth members of the Boys & Girls Club of Corpus Christi are very grateful to our corporate and business sponsors. These sponsors are the very heart of what it takes to keep our programs running.
The following program areas are available for sponsorship. These are non-exclusive annual opportunities. Unless otherwise noted, you may designate your sponsorship for either the Greenwood or Robstown Unit. Banner placement opportunities are available in the gym, along the pool fence, and in the learning center.
The sports and games room programs serve more than 4,000 youth each year. Annually we replace worn out sports equipment such as basketballs and games room equipment like the foosball tables with safe, updated equipment.
Facility Repairs------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ $5,000
Each Clubhouse receives a yearly top to bottom scrubbing that includes new paint on the walls, stripping and waxing the floors, replacing aging fixtures, and generally repairing the havoc thousands of children can wreck on a building.
Sports Complex Maintenance (Greenwood only)------------------------------------------------------------------ $5,000
The Sports Complex is used by hundreds of youth playing football and kickball during the school year. During the summer its fields are used in our summer program. The Sports Complex houses football and soccer fields and a concession stand.
Pool Maintenance (Greenwood only)--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- $5,000
Filters and chemicals are only one part of the ongoing cost of maintaining our kids’ favorite part of their Club—the swimming pool. We also purchase water sports equipment to increase the children’s fun and exercise while in the pool.
Clubhouse Van (Greenwood only)------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- $2,500
The Greenwood Club van is used to pick up kids after school to bring them to the Club and to transport kids to and from various field trips and activities throughout the year.
POWER Hour! Homework Help Program--------------------------------------------------------------------------- $2,500
Offered throughout the school year, staff and volunteers help kids create and achieve educational goals through after-school homework help and mentoring.
Learning Center-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- $1,500
Board games, table games, books, magazines, educational software and video games are just some of the ways our kids are involved in high-yield learning after school and during the summer.
Membership----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- $1,000
A gift of $1,000 underwrites the cost of program expenses for four youth for an entire year.
